TV character who I am like

Louie is the only main character on Louis C.K.'s show 'Louie', which follows the life of this working comedian in New York -- a fictionalized version of himself. Louie is divorced but maintains a relatively friendly relationship with his ex-wife Janet, despite contentious moments surfacing from time to time. They have two young daughters, Lilly and Jane, and share custody of them. There are several aspects of Louie's character that I recognise in myself. Louie is self-loathing, slovenly and insecure about his weight and general appearance, among other things. He is generally unsuccessful in his pursuit of women.

His career is a successful one, albeit not on par with the real-life Louis C.K. Louie has regular stand-up comedy gigs and seems to pull in substantial audiences when he goes on tour. Still, Louie is hesitant to challenge himself and push himself out of a general comfort zone in order to advance his career. I am not working yet, but I can imagine myself working in this kind of environment and on these terms.
