We decided to go with the classic white ghost like gown, and splatter with fake blood we made from red food dye and tomato ketchup (Heinz brand). It looked quite effective, the only problem was that because it was liquid we were dealing with, it wouldn't have dried for about 10 minutes so we had to use a hairdryer in order to have it dried in time. This looked all well and good, however, for Kirsty it wasn't very comfortable as it was quite cold out and the costume wasn't very warm. She looked really creepy as we purposefully put her hair in strewed side ponytails. She also put eyeliner and a dark foundation around her eyes to give a demonic vibe makeup-wise to accentuate her costume.
